Although technically part of the ‘A Voice Is All You Need’ campaign, the launch of a service like HD sound, required an execution that really highlighted the power of high definition music. So who better to portrait this than The Beatles and the original sounds of the instruments they used to record in Abbey Road before digital music came to be.

And when I say the instruments, I mean literally the instruments. The ones that played every beat, strum, and lick from Maxwell’s Silver Hammer to Polythene Pam. We worked closely with Apple Corps and Sir Paul McCartney himself in all his knighted glory to ensure the authenticity of every detail, against Abbey Road session photography.

Creatively, each layer of vocals and instrumentation was introduced one by one, both in audio and visually. This illustrated the benefit of HD sound: being able to hear the layers and nuances of music, like the artists originally intended it to be.

Big thank you to BUCK for this amazing collaboration.
